UK Companies to Hire Bulgarian Agriculture Workers

A total of 1,500 unemployed Bulgarians will take part in a Bulgarian-British employment project in the agriculture area, Darik News Reported.
The representatives of ten UK employment agencies will select their new employers on Wednesday and Thursday in the towns of Russe, Razgrad, Targovishte and Silistra.
After the companies shortlist the candidates, two groups will be formed. The first groups will take off to the UK in the beginning of autumn and the second will go to the island in the beginning of 2008.
The workers will be paid EUR 7,60 for every hour of work. All of them will be accommodated in apartments and they will work 40 hours a week.
The event is a result of the close cooperation between the Bulgarian and British national employment agencies.
