Bulgaria's Industrial Output Grows 2,5% in June

Bulgaria's total industrial output grew by 2,5% in June 2008 compared to its May levels, according to the preliminary data of the National Statistical Institute.
The increase in the production of chemical products is the most impressive - 21,7%. The foods and beverages production also grew significantly - by 10,5%.
The growth in Bulgaria's total industrial output in June 2008 compared to the June 2007 level is 3,6%. There is an increase of 4,3% in processing industry, and of 8,6% in the extracting industry. There is a decrease of -1,1% in the production and/or distribution of electricity, natural gas, and water. |
